GIM method is created and developed from decades of fitness experience combined with the resilience and grit training taught by owner and coach Judy Thureson. All our coaches are certified and trained to serve you and share this GIM method to give you an amazing experience!

Get It Movement provides 50 minute sessions in a small group boutique fitness atmosphere.

You will experience a full body conditioning, high intensity, low impact training that focuses on core strength, cardio, endurance, balance, and flexibility.


Small group sessions at GIM are taught completely on our custom HIIT-FORMER machines that uses variable resistance and tension to strengthen, tighten and tone.

The combination of slow and controlled pacing, as well as the dynamic HIIT bursts will give you the long lean physique that has made this workout highly popular and effective. We feature targeted exercises performed with effectiveness and efficiency to give you the best results.

GIM uses resistance and counter resistance created to place muscles under constant tension, a key to the method’s delivery of swift results. The machine features various handles, straps and accessories. The HIIT-FORMER and GIM Method provide a dynamic platform for our highly trained instructors to continuously create new and unique workout experiences, constantly evolving and challenging our clients in new ways.

About Judy Thureson

Visionary, Mindset and Resilience Coach


Judy has a genuine desire to see people live their most authentic life. In the last 20 years, she has helped thousands of clients focus on their mental, physical, and spiritual health as an international health and wellness coach.

Judy has numerous fitness certifications but is most passionate about building community and seeing her clients transform. She began teaching fitness classes in Los Angeles in 2009. It was a natural progression from being a professional dancer. She continued her training in Austin, Texas where she taught Mega/Versa classes…the first hybrid workout of its kind at The Lagree Studio!

Her family relocated to Phoenix, AZ in 2018 where she taught at The Body Lab and fell in love with their community and clients.


Judy is a certified Grief Recovery specialist helping people navigate grief and loss. She also teaches mindfulness and meditation techniques. She uses a holistic approach to wellness to help people heal and live wholeheartedly. Judy’s passion for growth and transformation is what makes her a great coach!

Judy doesn’t just teach resilience and mental toughness, she unfortunately has firsthand experience with it. She tragically lost her eighteen year old son, Jacob to opioid overdose. She wrote a best selling book, BEAUTIFUL TRAGEDY chronicling her experience, and introduces the GIVE Principle, her meditation and mindfulness practice that guided her through this tragic time.

Judy is so excited and eager to serve this community and is committed to bringing innovative, inspiring, and cutting edge workouts to EMPOWER you!

HOW DO I SIGN UP?

You may book a session by clicking on the BOOK IT NOW button.  You can also download the app. Once you have created an account and logged in, you can choose the session you wish to attend.  You can then purchase the session package that work best for you.  

HOW EARLY SHOULD I ARRIVE TO A SESSION?

Please arrive 5 minutes before your scheduled GIM session. If it is your first time attending a GIM studio please arrive 10 minutes before your small group session. The doors will open at least 10 minutes prior to each session.***Please note that if you are more than 10 minutes late, you will be charged a $30 no show fee and your spot will be given to the next person on waitlist.

WHERE CAN I STORE MY PERSONAL BELONGINGS?

***Due to current health standards, we encourage you to keep your personal belongings to a minimum.  There are cubbies at the studio for your convenience. 

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR/BRING TO MY SMALL GROUP SESSION?

Wear breathable workout clothes that you can move and stretch in. Grip socks are mandatory. They keep you from slipping and keep the X-former sanitary.  Grip socks are available for purchase at the studio for $20.00 Please note if you do not bring grip sox to class, you must purchase a pair before being allowed on the machines. There are no exceptions to this rule.

ARE YOUR SMALL GROUP SESSION SCHEDULES ALWAYS THE SAME?

Each day has a specific focus and goal in mind. Please check your schedule. Schedules and instructors may change without notice. You will be notified of any small group session cancellations. We do reserve the right to change instructors and/or session formats without notice. 

WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?

All small group session bookings are final and non-refundable. All cancellations must be made no less than 8 hours prior to the start of your scheduled session or your credit will be forfeited.  ***NO SHOWS WILL BE CHARGED $30NO EXCEPTIONS! 

ARE CHILDREN ALLOWED AT THE STUDIO?

Children under 14 are not allowed at the studio.  14 & 15 year olds are allowed to participate in a group session with an accompanying adult.  16 & 17 year olds may attend by themselves but will need their guardian to sign the initial waiver.

WHAT ARE YOUR SAFETY PRECAUTIONS AND REQUIREMENTS?

Please do not come to the studio if you are feeling sick. We will have sanitation stations around the studio and will have anti-bacterial wipes to wipe down machines prior to each class. Please keep an appropriate distance from one another. Studio is deep cleaned and sanitized daily and we ask for your help to keep us all safe and healthy. We also have a high level air filter machine that kills 99.9% of viruses including Coronavirus.
